The Team

Clare Cartwright
Chair & Trustee

I have a long history with OSH, having previously been a Gold DofE leader with the school before my 3 children were born, my husband is also on Old Foleyan, showing that once you are part of the OSH family you are always part of the OSH family! I took over as Chair of the PA in September 2019, a role that is made very easy for me, due to the amazing PA team  and the support we get from all areas of the school.

My eldest son is in year 12 and my youngest son is just starting his OSH journey in year 9. I also have a 11 year old daughter, who is keen to follow in her brothers footsteps in a few years time. My love of sport, and rugby in particular has been passed down to my boys and in normal times you will find me on the side-lines in all weathers cheering them on.

I currently have one son at the school, who is now in year 11. I am a technical IT trainer by trade and am a self certified geek when it comes to computers.

Being a keen amateur photographer I spend many hours finding the right pictures and you will frequently see me at events within the school with my camera around my neck or being heckled by the members of the rugby teams asking for their photos.

I am also a keen Scouter and spend much time with my Scout Group, District & County doing 'volunteer' type stuff - quite a lots of that is media work too!

My son is a Year 9 day student and loving life at OSH. I also have 8 year old twins who I'm also hoping will attend.  I've found that joining the PA has been a great way to meet new people and contribute to a worthwhile cause. Since joining the PA I've been involved in planning the annual Winter Ball, promoting the PA at parents evening and most recently I was delighted to take up the role as secretary.  I'm a primary school teacher working in a small school near Bromsgrove.
