This is no ordinary Parents’ Association!  

The OSH Parents Association has a long tradition of supporting the school and its students, whether that be by providing refreshments at music concerts and sporting events, arranging social events for parents or providing funding for equipment and resources to enhance our children’s educational experience and the school’s facilities.

Our aim is to raise as much as we can with minimum fuss; we’re not constantly asking parents for donations, but we do organise great events and offer hassle-free ways to contribute with little or no effort.  We use several easy methods to generate funds; they are listed on our Fundraising page.

Every OSH parent is automatically a member of the Parents’ Association. The PA provides parents with an opportunity to get more involved with OSH and understand what people mean about being part of the OSH family.  We’re actively involved in school life and have a great working relationship with the Senior Management Team, Heads of House, Heads of Departments etc.  Mr Kilbride attends most of our monthly meetings, and is a keen supporter of our fundraising activities.

We get together on the first Wednesday of every month during term time. We generally meet in Barn Block but keep an eye on our Facebook page for more information – we will advertise meeting times and locations, amongst other fun and useful information, there It’s all very informal and everyone is welcome to join in.

Some parents just like to attend to find out what’s going on, others want to join the Committee, others prefer to help out on an ad hoc basis.  There is no pressure to get involved with anything, but if you want to then we are always very grateful.
